Virginia Legal Marketing

Virginia, positioned just about halfway between Florida and New York, is known as the gateway to the South. It was founded in 1607 at Jamestown and joined the Union on June 25, 1788, as the 10th state. The state is also sometimes called the Mother of Presidents, because eight U.S. presidents were born there, including our first, George Washington.

Virginia is one of the more populous states, with just under 7,900,000 residents. Richmond, its capital since 1780 has a population of nearly 193,000 inhabitants, and about 435,600 people live in its largest city of Virginia Beach.
