Nebraska Legal Marketing

Before Nebraska was a territory, it was home to many Native American tribes, including the Omaha, Otoe-Missouria, Arapaho, Cheyenne, Lakota and Ponca tribes. In 1862, the Homestead Act gave away Nebraska land to anyone willing to work and improve it. Five years later, Nebraska became the 37th state, on March 1, 1867.

Today Nebraska boasts about 1,796,600 residents. Almost 419,600 of them live in its largest city, Omaha, which is also home to the largest indoor rainforest, desert and nocturnal exhibit in the world, at the Henry Doorly Zoo. Almost 241,200 people call the capital city of Lincoln home.
